Pneumatic Seal

DEDE Pneumatic seals are sealing devices that use compressed air to seal the gap of the rotating shaft to prevent the working medium from leaking. An annular groove is machined on the housing, and compressed air enters to seal the gap of the rotating shaft to prevent the leakage of lubricating oil.

Pneumatic seal have the characteristics of simple structure, but require a certain pressure of air supply, so the consumption of compressed air is large, and the air source pressure is 0.03~0.05Mpa greater than the pressure of the sealing medium. Pneumatic oil seals are not limited by speed and temperature. They are usually used for sealing rotating mechanical equipment with small pressure difference, for sealing liquid media, and can also be used for sealing gas media, such as to prevent the leakage of lubricating oil in the bearing chamber. Sometimes it can be used in combination with labyrinth seals or spiral seals.
